SEPA Payments

Cashless and speedy

SEPA is the fastest, safest and most affordable way to make cross-border payments in euros. It provides security and simplifies the transfer of money between SEPA zone nations for both individuals and businesses.

All you need to do is enter the recipient’s international bank account number (IBAN) and the amount you want to transfer. Clicking ‘Send’ instantly completes your transaction.

What’s SEPA?

The European Union (EU) developed the single euro payments area (SEPA), to unify the way cashless payments are made between euro member states.

Consisting of 36 European countries, the SEPA zone is a single euro payments market, which allows for simplified cross-border money transfers at reduced transaction rates.

Full list of the EU countries that are part of the SEPA Zone:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta,
Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, the Vatican City,
and the United Kingdom are not part of the European Union (EU).

*Please note that the UK is no longer a member of the EU or the EEA, but it is still a member of SEPA.

The pros of using SEPA Payments:

A global customer base

Thanks to SEPA, it has become much easier to reach a wider global audience. More than half a billion people in the SEPA zone make some €120 billion in electronic payments each year.
SEPA helps you grow your business and reach a customer base that might otherwise have been unavailable.

Freedom and ease of use

Whether you are at home, or abroad and on-the-go, you can use your single GPG account to handle all incoming and outgoing transactions in a safer and faster way.  In just a single business day you can carry out a variety of transactions such as sending money abroad or shopping online.

Low fees

Fed up with costly international transaction fees? With SEPA payments, transferring money abroad is as quick and simple as it is at home. SEPA regulations have dramatically simplified
and reduced the cost of transactions within the zone, affording clients the opportunity to focus on the more pressing matters of their business.
